Ralph illustrated all of Hunter Thompson's books....

Here's the home page.

The cat is buried in amongst all his other artworks and stories... there's a blog too.

Go visit.... you will like what you see....

Had a look at your profile, what a lovely boy. :) My big boy (ginger and white moggy) is sitting next to me on the other chair as I type.

I always feel so sorry for those strays and waifs picked up by the animal rescue organisations (e.g. SPCA). Over here, they have gotten smart and started advertising the photos and some profiles of cats/dogs/rabbits they have in the shelters. I'm such a soft touch (guys, note, ONLY for cute furry animals - beards don't count), that I wish I had a huge house/section so I could go in and save them all. I wish: (a) the government would pay for neutering/spaying animals so that it was "free" to people and (b) that people would actually get it done!!!

I wasn't going to point that out, but I noticed that too. Both Airplane movies in fact, as I recall. When I saw Magenta's name, I also scanned the user database, but unfortunately we are a Frank N. Furter short of having all the Rocky Horror main characters (we do have a few Riffraffs, Columbias, and Dr Scotts).

:) You guessed it. One of my all-time favourite movies, I have had a crush on Tim Curry for 22 years now (i.e. since I first saw RHPS).

How do you look in suspenders?

NOOOOOOoooooohhhh!!!! Girl, Magenta, girl!!! She's a little princess, the finest little lady, you can imagine!

I also wish I could help all the strays that live here around, but, alas, I can't! My Bouncer Jupiter is extremely aggressive towards other cats, dogs and children! The first few months I had her, she was growling every time she heard the sound of the above! And she has never wanted to come outside! I tried once to take her out in a harness and a leash, but no, she has had enough of the world outside as a stray!

I only paid a third of the price of a neutralization, and for that I had her neutralized, eartatoo'ed, vaccinated, treatments for worms and fleas, and, of course, she was evaluated to be suited for adoption!

Have you, BTW, checked out "How to Dance Like a White Guy" on the same site as the LEGO Quest for the Holy Grail? It's quite hilarious!

ROTFL BLUSH</B> My excuse is that Jupiter is a bloke in Roman mythology. :)

Our boy is the same. He is picky when it comes to other cats, so we can only have him. The neighbours cats all visit though. There's a lot of cats here, but the sections are quite big and a lot of us back onto reserve land that is all bush.

That's great that the cost is lowered. Although I would prefer it to be free, as then cost wouldn't affect lower-income families from enjoying a cat. :)

Had a look and [b]loved
it. :) Of course, I am now wondering how many of the guys here actually dance like that... although I don't know that I want that image in my mind. :) :)

The funniest thing I've seen today, is that Charles and Camilla got married and the queen wouldn't allow the traditional family picture to be taken. Evidently, she's not very fond of Camilla.

Well, if you were asking me, and want a visualization, try imagining suspenders on the American comedian/actor Drew Carey, then put Kelsey Grammer's (tv series Frasier) head on him. Not a pleasant visualization, eh? I think I'll have to stick with my present handle. :)

After I looked through the database, I surfed the web a bit for RHPS stuff, and found that, ironically, a theater in downtown Tacoma, Washington, where I live, is starting up the show this very Saturday night. Alas, my days of doing the Time Warp are long, long over.

No, I like the idea of people having to pay for a cat! Then it would prevent people to go to shelters and get a cat just for a toy! And again, the price for a stray is much lower than what I should have paid for a neutralization and eartattoo anyway! The difference was paid by the save-the-animals organisation here.

Nah, you just become old enough to embarrass your kids when they throw the music on.

That's a good thing I've discovered about becoming older, I care less and less about what others think about my dancing. :)

I agree with having a screening method to stop inappropriate people having a cat. I just don't know that money is the best way, although I suppose that if one can't afford a little bit of money to get a cat, how will one afford to feed the cat? It's just that some middle-class and rich people can be nasty as well.

Never had a wife, never had kids. The upside of that is I do anything I please with no static at all.

Truth be told, I was considering going just to throw a "dollar vote" for keeping the show around. There are worse things kids could be doing with their time than going out into public in their underwear and dancing, I think. Unfortunately, I currently have very few of these "votes".

In honor of I-CON...
&#x266a;How do you do? I
see you've met my
faithful handyman.
&#x266b;

&#x266c;He's just a
little brought down because
when you knocked
he thought you were the
candyman.
&#x266a;

&#x266b;Don't get strung out
by the way I look.
Don't judge a book
by its cover
&#x266c;

&#x266a;I'm not much of a man
by the light of day,
but by night I'm one
hell of a lover.
&#x266b;

&#x266c;I'm just a sweet Transvestite
From Transexual Transylvania.
&#x266a;

&#x266b;Let me show you around, maybe
play you a sound
You look like you're both
pretty groovie.
&#x266c;

&#x266a;Or if you want something visual
not too abysmal
We could take in an old
Steve Reeves movie.
&#x266b;

BRAD
I'm glad we caught you at home...
could we use your phone?
We're both in a bit of a hurry.

JANET
Right!

BRAD
We'll just say where we are,
then go back to the car.
We don't want to be any worry.

FRANK
&#x266c;Well! You got
caught with a flat... Well
how about that?
Well babies
don't you panic -
By the light of the night
It'll seem alright.
I'll get you a
satanic mechanic.
&#x266a;

&#x266b;I'm just a sweet transvestite
From Transexual Transylvania.
&#x266c;

Why don'cha
stay for the night?
Or maybe a bite?
I could show you my favourite...
obsession.

I've been making a man
(with blonde hair and a tan)
And he's good for relieving my...
tension.

&#x266a;I'm just a sweet transvestite
From Transexual Transylvania.
&#x266b;

So: Come on up to the lab
And see what's on the slab.
I see you shiver with antici--

--pation.

But maybe the rain
Isn't really to blame
So I'll remove the cause...

[Heh heh heh...]

But not the symptom!

Richard O'Brien (all hail), who wrote RHPS, is a New Zealander. :) :) He comes from Hamilton I think, nuff said. Hamilton is in the North Island, south of Auckland if anyone cares to look on a map.

And not a single sheep joke in the entire musical.
