When running more than one project (Setiathome and Climateprediction for example), the work tab will say that one project has been removed from memory and it appears as being paused. What controls this? Can I influence it to reload the paused project faster?

BOINC task switches on an hourly basis (default -- can be changed).

Do not use too short of a time between task switches as the context switch itself can use some time.

Keep the processes in memory -- this will remove the problem where the task backs up to the last checkpoint.

The settings can be found in the general settings of your account page.
