Thanks again for a very useful little tool. Everything appears to be working as advertised. It did lock up when I first stated it, but this could just be my system. My P2P and Boinc can also be finicky.

Clicking on "Get Data" twice, duplicates the displayed data each time it's clicked.

OK, just fixed the problem with too much entries in the unstable box and also added an Exception for those who have a CC smaller than 4.20

Just download the new version as usual ;)

Hi,

I just finished a new version (1.7) where I implemented a mode called check_silent (unfortunately only works on win 2000 / XP with CC > 4.20).
The new mode starts if you add the parameter /check_silent to your Shortcut of BOINCnotifier. In check_silent-mode the program runs in the tray and notifies you whether there is a new version or not.
A good idea would be running that as an autostart program...

It's a shame you don't see fit to ensure that this useful program runs in Linux - at the very least with Wine which runs any well-behaved Windows program. ;)

Better still would be to actually produce a native Linux version given that there is at least one Delphi-compatible free compiler for Linux.

I just found some time for BOINCnotifier and therefore corrected the nasty bug where the CC version could not be checked (since 4.24).
So in the new version 1.8 version detection works again BUT people with clients from 4.20 to 4.23 should stick to 1.7 or upgrade to the new Core Client.

Get the new exe by downloadlink or autoupdate!

Hi again,

in the last days, the BOINCnotifier produced a strange output due to the new Mac versions where the version number could not be read out of the XML-file.
Fortunately David Anderson now changed the format, so with this new version of BOINCnotifier (1.9.1), hopefully everything will work again! :)

New version 2.0RC adds a bugfix when downloading by clicking on the balloon hint when running in "check_silent"-mode.

As the new CC is now stable, I will release the 2.0 final very soon (one week or so) if there are no more bugs in the RC.
