Some serious problems in determing 'average' credit.

It is not AVERAGE credit. It is RECENT Average Credit. The RAC uses an algorithm that weighs the most recent Credits heavier and less weight to the older credits.

Have you looked through Paul Buck's FAQ for RAC?

BOINC uses a weighted average with the weight reducing by a factor of 2 / week in age of the time that the credit was granted.

Regardless of how it is being calculated, everyone's RAC is very low at the moment since the validator is barely crawling along. Once the get the new database server fully online and running, the credits should start rolling and everyone's RAC will jump back up.

I think it's finally come to a grinding halt.
I've been doing my usual 8 Work Units per day, but my Total Credit hasn't changed for about a week or so.
