I have the nick 'Sänger', it's my RL-nick as well. I've always had it written with the 'ä', but lately it somehow changed it's appearence (first in boincstats.com, now also as my account name on my own puter in boinc) to '&# 228;', which for me doesn't sound the same if spoken loud;-)
I changed ny nick to the longer version of a-umlaut, ae, but that's not fine.
It hass not completely vanished from this site, as I still can see my correct sign (I hope, that's not only me here in Germany).

How do I have to act to get a short but correct version of my nick in my account. (And in my, what's it called, XML-files or something. Not that I now the interna of that format/system/protocol?)
