Personal background
There was a little boy starring at the full moon one night in July of 1969. Even though he was young - he still could not believe that there were men walking on the moon. He witnessed history and saw for his own eyes a quintessential footprint that represents the achievement of human imagination. A night where humankind leaped off this earth and boldly announced to the Universe "We, too, are Aliens."

I am only too familiar with logistics, engineering, communications, the talented and intelligent people and the list goes on.., just so that I can be the airline pilot that you entrust your family with while in my charge. Going to the moon, going into the sky and into space or the very depth of an ocean or the highest mountain peaks, living on the frigid South Pole -- all these endeavors take a colossal effort to achieve and conquer. There are huge setbacks, even larger disappointments, failure after failure after failure and a voice you hear from time to time that whispers, "This can't be done." But it can be done and it is done. And, after all that effort towards the end goal of success, we only leave a tiny little flag that bears witness that 'we' were here and we learned.

Our Voyager spacecrafts have left the influence of our own Sun long ago. These 2 little "E.T's" still phone home today with a message, "Wish you were here." Perhaps, a form of life will listen to a Golden Record that is attached to a probe and learn at that moment, that they too are not alone in the Universe. Can you imagine the look in their 'visual receptors' when they learn of such inspirational news?

Are there other life forms in the Universe? (Rhetorical question.)
Unequivocally yes! In fact, their DNA will be less than 5% different from our own DNA. Will our next generation make contact with other life forms? Unequivocally yes!

Will we learn, will we teach, will we be different, can we co-exist? I hope so. But only if we exchange information and scientific research that will benefit our kind collectively. The day when someone introduces religion to Aliens or they introduce us to their make believe 'Gods' - will be the day that "us-kind" will be destroyed. My message is a - sort of echo - of a modern day Klaatu, although I am not warning of nuclear weapons, but I am warning of the dangers of religion. Haven't we had enough of that poison? - Let it be known - that you have been warned.

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I run SETI on 2 computers, one of which is dedicated to SETI alone.
This is my universe, these are my life forms and SETI is my
cosmic beacon to unify the bond of life between different bloods.

This project is my participation in the search for life. My participation to find new worlds to live on. My participation to ensure the continuity of our existence is perpetual. We must always exist.

Suggestions!

Get the producers of the science shows and TV shows like Big Bang to spread the word of this project. Advertise with crowd funded money. I tell people everyday about SETI and they look at me like I am from the Andromeda galaxy. (Shhh - I don't want to blow my cover.)

Contact Google and Apple execs, so that we can put SETI on to a billion, billion smart phones.

Get a SETI store, coffee mugs, posters, tee shirts, contests.......
