I think extraterresetrials do exist, but many may be to primitive to detect or may have gone extinct. Any aliens more advanced than us may hopefully discover us before we discover them. Hopefully those aliens will be peaceful rather than hostile.
I ran SETI@home because I'm very much interested in science fiction, astronomy, and computers. I think it's a great way of focusing millions of computers together to achieve a common goal. Sifting through an infinite amount of noise is rather difficult, but it's a little more reasonable with the large super-computer array. |
