Personal background
My parents named me after Inanna, Sumerian goddess of love, fertility, warfare and found to be a common deity among several different world cultures. They had to drop an "n" to the name because our bishop wouldn't allow me to get babtized with a pagan name. Luckily times have changed around here including our beliefs. I'm old. I've lived around like a gypsy, and have always found comfort in looking up at the night sky.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. Dyslexia prevented me from even trying to become an astronaut (no sense of direction) so my hobbies now include dedicating some free virtual memory to SETI , painting, and getting lost looking up at the stars.

2. Why the heck not?

3. Would have been helpful at the beginning to mouse over a colored corner in the graphics and know what observatory was what and where the image we are looking at in the constellations.
