Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I think SETI@home is a worthwhile project.
I am also running a climate prediction Project, but the units are rather large. I think the amount of processing time required for the SETI units is about right from the user's point of view.
SETI@home and Astropulse are funded by grants from the National Science Foundation, NASA, and donations from SETI@home volunteers. AstroPulse is funded in part by the NSF through grant AST-0307956.
