I'm Fred - age 33 - and living in Brussels, Belgium.
Astronomy has always been a passion and used to be a hobby. But practising this hobby in a big city proved to be quite a frustation !
So, now I'm confining myself to reading material on the subject and watching 'The Sky At Night' on the BBC...

I first heard from this project thru the local newspaper, in April 2001.
Although intrigued by the possibility of extraterrestrial life (and convinced of its existence), I caution for a prudent approach. Nature of Earth is violent and the golden rule is "Survival of the Fittest".
There is no reason why things should be different in the Universe.
So better to listen first !
Contact should not be initiated before the true nature and intentions of our neighbours are known.
