I run SETI with the interest of looking into the stars and some day building my own radio telescope, but much smaller.
I think SETI is a worthwhile project in the interest of human advancement, even though any positive detection will likely be thousands to billions of years old, it would still be a global game changer if ET is actually discovered. |
