I saw a tv show that mentioned SETI and how it works. I thought it sounded like a good thing so I figured why not?
I also saw something completely crazy, some people think we can grow food on Mars. Now this is a waste of money if you ask me, the cost alone makes this a useless quest, also how will they get water to mars? 3 yrs to get there, another 3 yrs to get back. This will be the most expensive produce ever, and it will have to be frozen so it won't go bad, on the trip. Did you see the show where we start to build communities on the oceans? now this may be possible, they had a guy that made some kind of spear that he filled with fish out in the ocean. Ocean farming, sounds more promising than food growing on mars. |
