Personal background
I am a dreamer basically. I love possibilities and I tend to think up all sorts of wierd senarios, that sometimes disturb people. I am a broadcast designer/animator by day, and at night an animator, gamer, husband and soon to be father. I love computers, film, music, games and books. So you can guess what I do all the time.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. Yes. I think we might of unwittingly discovered it already. We just don't know it. And as always there is good and bad possibilites that come with that.

2. Yes. A very basic signal should be sent, probably something with a rythym that, to our knowledge, is very difficult to find in the natural world.

3. It is my way of contributing to research, and I like the concept of utilizing unused resources. I the the project has been a tremendous success, and I hope it grows massively. I would suggest revamping the screen saver interface to have some more user statistics available.
