Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Discovering an alien civilization, in my opinion, would be the most important discovery made by mankind. Perhaps this discovery might better unite humans in spending our resources and $$$ on peaceful applications.

If you were trying to send a message to aliens in space, what would be the ideal frequency and bandwidth to do use? In your search, do you emphasize looking for this frequency and bandwidth? Also what about polarization? A Star Civilization 5 may use polarized star light for broadcasting.
