I am 29 and a screen writer for Battlegrounds Productions. I have had a fascination with the SETI program since I first learned about it as a little girl. I am THRILLED to be part of the program and have my own part of the universe I can listen to!! I am easy going and would appreciate any information people can give me to optimize my experience with SETI. I am a newbie with this software and would love help navigating it. Thanks everyone!!
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. My answer above answered that for the most part. That and I am committed to finding intelligence beyond our world!
2. I fully support this project and plan to devote every resource I can to help the cause.
3. Suggestions? To those who are somewhat software illiterate, maybe a more broken down explanation of what constitutes an anomaly could be helpful. I understand that this program has been running for years with no transmissions but for those who don't know what we're looking for, an example could be nice.
