Profile: DPRGI - Gianluca Leppe

Personal background
I'm an italian student of Aerospatial Engineering at Turin Politechnic (Italy), and I'm going to become engineer in a year, I hope so.
I'm 22 years old and I live in Turin.
I've learned about SETI a lot of years ago watching a documentary on RAI 1, the italian' first popualr channel, and now I've crunched for 2.3 years ( I started on 29 of may 1999).
I'm part of an italian group that analyzes data for SETI, Genome at home and Folding at home, oru internet site address is:

http://www.dprgi.org

I crunch data with an AMD k7 1100@ 1300 mhz, a monster that makes fire when turned on ( that means 24/24,7/7, 365/365...........)
I hope all the time spent with my (and ours machines) crunching will give in a time not too far the expected results, or at least a clarification on the most desired dream and most important discover the man could ever had.

Bye, Gianluca
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
A project I will support until it will be alive............
