Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I just think that it would be an important discovery to find that "we are not alone" - and why should we be?
Space is so big - why should we have it all by ourselves? The main reason for aliens hasn't contacted us yet is probably because it would destroy our way of life. "They" know what is good for us - but we have to figure it out ourselves before we can reach for them...
But it would be quite interesting to find who is living "next door" to us... :-)
