All BOINC projects run from home on a desktop computer assembled from hardware purchased from online vendors. The system is a mid-range gaming desktop and not specifically built with BOINC gpu applications in mind, although I do favor NVIDIA GeForce graphics cards for their CUDA capability. About every two or three years I upgrade the system components or build a new system.
Other interests are:
- the freeware ray tracing program, POV-Ray,
- all things Subaru Impreza,
- and Formula One-related.
