I am a 23 year old US Sailor (EM3) who has always had an interest in the SETI program.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1.) I always liked the idea of cloud computing for massive projects like this one and being part of one of those cloud projects, specially one i support as much as SETI, is something i always intended to do.
2.) The project is an interesting one since i agree towards the idea of scanning the sky's. I am not sure of whether there is intelligent life out there but i am happy to be one of the people putting my computers power towards searching.
