Hi my name is Kyle. I am a freshman at Knoch High School near butler in pennsylvania. I enjoy the fact that it is possible to find other life in the universe. I am very interseted in science, and plan to find a career around that.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
How can extraterrestrial life NOT exist? I mean we live in a solar system, which is in a galaxy with numerous solar systems in it, and our galaxy is amoung millions of other galaxys that are in the universe. Do you want to tell me that we are the only intelligent life on all of these planets? That would be crazy. I think humans should transmit a beacon for others to find. If we do than in the future we might recieve one back. You never know.
SETI@home and Astropulse are funded by grants from the National Science Foundation, NASA, and donations from SETI@home volunteers. AstroPulse is funded in part by the NSF through grant AST-0307956.
