| Hi I'm Keith... I was born in Liverpool UK shortly before the first space flight of any kind!! I currently work as an Area Manager for a small pub company in the south of England. I've been facinated by the stars since I can remember, am an avid Science Fiction fan and during many years of looking to the heavens have seen some strange things! Some explained and some not!!I am delighted to be part, even in a small way,for the search for other life forms.I currently use a Meade 8" refractor telescope which gives me hours of enjoyment on those dark clear nights.I'm a fun bachelor guy who loves to travel. Having seen probably 2 0r 3 strange unexplained things while spending hours stargazing I certainly do believe extraterrestrial life exists.
How we discover it is anyones guess. Who's to say there not amongst us now! If discovered I sincerly hope we don't react as some Sci-Fi films would depict!!Sending a beacon is a good idea, (I thought Voyager had certain information on board), It would be wise not to mention to much about our shady history it might frighten them off!!
I run Seti@Home because I like the idea of being a part of such a bold initiative. I don't think I have the brains to offer any suggestions but just to say keep up the good work.
