I am a 40 years old physicist, radiographer, M.C.P. and a Sci-Fi fan.
Personally, I don't believe we are not alone. Maybe being lonely is our fate, since even if there were other intelligent beings, like us, we could never come to a tet-a-tet communication, because of the vastness of the Universe.
Also, the conditions in Nature to start the phenomenon of life is very specific and with a lot of obstacles in its route to the stars...
I hope SETI, this wonderful project, will disprove all above or , at least, will catch a signal. |
