Personal background
Hello!

My name is Jesper, I'm from Östergötland in Sweden, and I'm 14 years old. I have a great interest in astronomy, medicine, neurology, biology (only certain fields within biology), psychology and music. I try to stay humane at all times, have an open mind and think logically. Sometimes logic can't explain everything though. It's important to have a perspective on things.

I've been diagnosed with the Asperger syndrome. So I may be confused by people's actions. I'm studying human behaviour though, and I'm adapting, so I'm doing fine. I'm synesthetic, too, so I tend to, for example, associate meatballs with a certain location or feeling. It can be confusing even to me, but I adapt.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I'm very interested in astronomy in general, especially the possibility of the existance of extraterrestrial lifeforms. Especially the possibility of the existance of intelligent extraterrestrial lifeforms. I was brought to the SETI@home-project through the science magasine "Science Illustrated", they had an article on SETI, and a link to this project. I'm very excited about participating.
