I'm a student from Poland. I study Computer Science and Management at Technical University Of Gdansk. I like sport, computers and many other things. I became SETI@Home user long time ago with my old AMD K5@366 processor and a modem connection with Internet. Now I have an Athlon XP 2000 and I process a few units per day.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I hope that we are not lonely in space and we will find that soon enough so I could witness it... I think that the discovery of extraterrestrial life could be quite dangerous.. Of course everything depends on what kind of life it would be but it would influence many people, for example Catholics... The attitude of the Catholic church and pope himself could be quite interesting, beacuse the existence of life on other planets could change the points of view of many people.. I personally think that it is not possible for all those planets in space not to be inhabited and empty - like it was said in a movie "Contact" it would be a terrible waste of space...
