male. age 22. ex-student of media science in zürich. working at an apple-dealer in the same city. love science-fiction books. some fantasy too. and play 9-ball quite often.

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
i am convinced that the chances for life are not that small in the sense of making us unique. there are bases for life we don't even imagine one can think about and even less believe to bring out life.
and where ever there is life, there is evolution. where ever there is evolution there will be conscience. and where ever conscience is, self-awareness and awareness of surrounding life and world leads to science. and to maths. the universal language.
maths is something which always had eluded my understanding capabilities. but i admire it for it's beauty. and the possibility which lay within. and where ever there is math, a message or mere sign of life/intelligence/understaning is highly probable. and is by it's nature (e.g. sign) meant to be capted. thus we will...
