Back when the economy was good I made a good living working 6 or7 month a year I worked about about 2 month last year I might do carer change if things don't pick up
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1.I have always had an interest in Astronomy in general and SETI type projects. It looks like a chance to help ET with out much effort

2. The major flaw I see is assuming that all intelligent life will develop radio technology. There could be be a way of communicating that we have not found yet if other planets develop what ever it its and skip radio we will miss them mot to on finding a needle in a haystack looks like a sure thing compared with examining the radio waves we can receive not to mention the ones that miss Earth all together. But nothing ventured nothing gained

3. I am going to talk about SETI at home the next MUFON meeting I attend I Know ufology is a dirty word to some but they have around 2000 paying members I don't if they could be recruited for SETI@HOME they would be a asset
Microsoft could be talked in making this software par of every OS there would Excess Capacity
