I'm an IT professional that joined SETI@Home back on May 14, 1999. Somehow I forgot about SETI and found it was still running 10 years later. I'm back now - looking for the needle in the haystack!
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Are you kidding, SETI is a piece of internet history. SETI showed us what was possible if we work together to solve a problem. The computing time dedicated to SETI could never be purchased. Look at all the work that is done today because SETI forged the path.
