Personal background
Hi everyone,

Thank you for your interest in my profile, I'm as glad as you guys to participate in such an important project as SETI.

Well, I have to say something about me so lets go....

I'm a 25 years male natural from the south of Brazil, more specifically from Maringa, state of Parana (border with Argentina and Paraguai).

Since my childhood I was very interested in science, and as things do not change easily, I became a scientist, getting my bachelor in Physics from Maringa University in 2006. After that I started my Master degree in the same year at the same university, in theoretical physics, studding diffusion problems and surface/adsorption problems, as well as non-linear equations. I got my degree in august of 2007, same year that I came to USA to do my PhD. currently, I'm at the Liquid Crystal Institute in Kent OH working with some very specific liquid crystals.

Although I'm studding Physical Chemistry I've always been an astronomy lover and very curios about space, stars, time travel and so on; consider that as one of my hobbies. I'm also an war strategy "aficionado" (I hate wars, but I like the ways to win it), more specifically second great war.

I like to have fun, going to the cinema, hanging out with friends and my wife.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Why do I run seti@home?
Why wouldn't I?
