I am a 27 year old systems technician in Powell River, BC, Canada.
My hobbies are diverse ... I revel and dance in the mysteries and wonders of coffee, I play and experiment with computers, I enjoy spending time with the SCA, and I play a communist on the internet. I am starting to get involved in medieval recreationist sword fighting and combat, as well as paintball (thanks to some friends at work and a present from my lovely wife). |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I have been running SETI @ Home for some time now since I discovered the initial announcment of the project while doing research for story ideas. At the time I wrote a small technology column for my local newspaper.
I liked the idea of distributed computing and thought that the SETI project was a wonderful use of that idea. |
