I run seti@home, because it's about the only thing I can do, to help in the search for other intelligent life.
2 I think the project is good on multiple levels, regardless if anything is found, it's a step in the right direction, pooling our resources for the greater good, on a global scale is something the human race scarcely does.
3 Yes I'd love maybe stand alone shell over boinc that talks to me. Just for kicks, it would be funny if upon completion it said, scan for extra terrestrial signals complete. |
