Personal background |
Moved from Phoenix, Arizona to Eilat, Israel. My background is law and education, but I mainly deal in asset management. I'm over 18 and under 80.
Interests include: reading, particularly science fiction (written by: Douglas Adams, Orson Scott Card, Jack Vance, Isaac Asimov, Arthur C. Clarke, Stanislaw Lem, among others) and Science Fact (cosmology, astronomy, physics and mathematics); the new Battlestar Galactica television series (it has me riveted to the television whenever it's on); the Discovery, History and National Geographic Channels; surfing the web and creating web pages; playing with my son; and sleeping (which has been almost non-existent since I got married, like camping, cycling and swimming, but I keep dreaming about them). |
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |
I know that there is (was/will be) intelligent life elsewhere in the universe (multiverse?) and suspect that they have the same fears, hopes and interests that we have.
This can't be the only place where life has taken hold. There is not a doubt in my mind that we will find, at the very least, simple life almost anywhere water, in any state, is discovered. We just have to wait for technology (and the general state of the world) to catch up to our visions. |
