I was Base Commander Sandman at the original StargateSGC site (Ryan's site). It, in my opinion, was the best site for fans of the show to meet and role play, or just chat. Friends were made. Friends were lost. Never in my wildest dreams would I have ever thought that a fan site would have drawn me in as that one had. I cherish those friends I have made, those I have kept, and mourn the ones I have lost, as a result of it.
I wish it were still up and running, but unfortunately that is no longer the case. To say I miss it, and those that I made friends as a result but have not seen in a long time, would be an understatement beyond belief.

I run SETI because I am a Space nut... virtually anything to do with the "out there" I am into. I run SETI because of that...and because my computer gets bored when I am not at it .
It is a good project, though I miss the old program I ran SETI on, which is why I was absent for so long. |
