| Hi this is Iftiquar, I am from Guwahati located at the north east part of India. From my very childhood I was fascinated by just looking at all the stars that twinkle in the sky. My fascination became my hobby and my passion, but I couldn't afford to buy a great telescope since they were quite costly. I due cource I kept saving my pocket money and ultimately I bought myself a telescope that was just able to see the Jupiter belts. I belive if life can be on earth, there are billions and billions of such stars such as our sun, so life can be found else where also. It was when I learnt of BOINC while surfing the net, I am trying to contribute whatever I can for SETI not in currency but in computation. I am a network engineer by profession and I like what I do. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

1. I run BOINC Projects SETI@home and Milkyway@home, since I belive life can exists and can be discovered in space. Earth cannot be the only planet to sustain life in the universe.
2. Excellent project and a great idea, making the whole world a part of SETI.
3. seti@home should reduce server downtime. |
