I am currently working as an accountant in a local telecommunications firm and like the rest of the crowd here, I too am fascinated with what lies beyond the beyond. I am very optimistic about this endeavor, and a believer that there are others out there, some are more advanced and some are at the roots of their civilization...
Ever since I saw the movie CONTACT (Jodie Foster) based from the Story of Carl Sagan, it made me feel very universal, in a way that I do not consider myself only as a FILIPINO but as an EARTHLING, proud to be, if given the chance, to represent and brag our Home Planet to the others in the cosmos...
I LOVE SETI that's ALL ^_^

SETI = Cool! Do not give up and do not mind those who antagonize and give outrageous vilification about you... But at least accept criticisms because that will lay the foundations for a better and even more credible institute... I believe we are getting there... I believe that we (Today's Generation) will live the day when Earth finally concludes the question of "Are We Alone?"...
SETI@Home = I would always want to be a part of this milestone that I believe is just around the corner... That is why I am thankful that this was created... I will do in all my power even if it is insignificant to contribute to this great endeavor of Mankind... ^_^ |
