I'm a Pagan following the Reconstructionist Druidic Path. I currently live in central NY and work as a Computer Scientist for a research and development firm. The applications I work on are proof of concept and I mostly program in JAVA, though I know many other programming languages as pick languages up easily. I am happily married with children.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I don't believe that we can be the only race in the Universe. Whether we are close enough to any other race to be able to find them (in my minds eye) is another story. If there is any chance of ever finding them, I think it will take everyone's help. To this end, I hate to see my computer's processing power go to waste when we're not using it.
