Hello,
I am Master J,I have always been intrested in space travel,Astronomy,And of course searching for little green men.
I am married with 2 kids,Im 36 years old,I work as a diesel engine tech.I live in Anderson SC,I am a combat veteran of the recent and active war.
My hobbies are art,reading,and all kinds of computer things.I love learning about things.I hate stagnation and boredom.
My intrest in all things space came from my mother,She was an avid trekie when I was growing up.So naturaly I took off with that.I had an insatiable apitite for all things space.I watched and read every thing I could get my hands on about the voyager missions,the Apollo moon Program,The viking lander missions when I was young.I dreamed of being an astronaut,of walking on the moon,of going to mars.While in school I had excedded my reading level..and some one brought me a copy of Carl Sagans book Cosmos.With that every thing else In Astronomy opened up to me.I dreamed of being on the moon and having a radio telescope,and a regular telescope.As with all things ..life took me in another direction.But thats ok!
Those things are still with me and never left.My intrest hasn't gone away.
And I still dream.Thats why I am here.

| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

Why do I run SETI@home?.....I have always wanted to be a part of SETI ever since I learned about it way back when.It's such a big Universe,with all those galaxys,and all the stars in our own galaxy,That there has to be life out there.
civilizations older than ours or younger than ours,is out there.Like I said before...I still dream.
I was at work one day not to far in the past.While sitting in the breakroom I was watching Nova on PBS when I saw the advertisment for this project.Thats how I got here.
My views?....I think it is a great thing what this project is doing.Getting people together to have a part in the search is simply wonderful!
Suggestions?....I dont have any at the moment.I just wish I had a map to put the pin in so I know where My work is or where I have been.
