Personal background
Howdy! My name's Keri Bean and I'm a junior meteorology major from Schertz, Texas, but more importantly, I'm the proudest member of the Fightin' Texas Aggie Class of 2010! A-A-A WHOOP!

I've worked on the Mars Exploration Rovers atmospheric science theme group and I'm currently working on the Phoenix Mars Lander Surface Stereo Imager team. I love NASA, and my hope is eventually to set foot on Mars myself.

My HAM radio callsign is KE5RDD. I'm the forecasting coordinator of the Texas Aggie Storm Chasers, the social chair of the Texas A&M Student Chapter of the American meteorological society, and I'm on the SpaceVision 2008 planning committee in the Texas A&M Students for the Exploration and Development of Space.

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I'm a big fan of Carl Sagan and it seems the right thing to do.
