OK not a picture of me but a picture of a couple of friends (Glen Earl and Dean Perry) drinking beer in a London pub.
I was born in London and therefore British more than 40 years ago. I now live just outside Atlanta Georgia USA. I moved to the US for a 2-year contract nearly 10 years ago. Work in Telecoms industry best description of my work is that I'm a computer engineer. My hobbies include trying to keep a really large yard (garden) under control, and of course computers. I am also help the local Welsh Society, I’m not from Wales but my wife is and really do enjoy in some small way helping this country promote its wealth of talents here in the US.
I started running SETI because of the screen saver. I moved to the CLI client when I wanted more output and more control of the client. At that time I didn't relise that on the add-on existed so I wrote a few batch files to cache WUs. |

Yes, I believe extraterrestrial life does exist, with billions and billions of stars it would be appalling waste of space if not. To believe that we are completely alone in the universe would be a terrible thought. Hopefully when contact is made both races will understand that being different is important and will not try and destroy the other race for just being different.
