Personal background
Yay! At first I had to create another account because I couldn't remember my password, and the e-mail address I'd used was dissolved years ago. I walked myself through the instructions for searching for my password, and I eventually figured it out. Yay me! So, now I'm able to use my original account, though the statistics are off. My ending statistics with "Classic Seti" as of November 25th, 2005 are really:

Data Units Completed: 252
Total Computer Time: 9,061 Hr. 55 Min. 17.2 Sec.

Eh, but who's counting, right?

Anyways, my name's Lola, I live in Jacksonville, Florida, and I hope one day someone finds something remarkable using this program.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I run Seti@home because I hope one day with thousands of people doing this, one of use will find something usefull. I know that no research program has the resources to adequately scan each part of the sky at every moment, but I hope we can cover enough to give us a chance to find something.

I think it's a great project. I first heard about it about four or five years ago, and I immediately signed up for it. I may not be an astronomer, but I can feel like I'm part of an astronomy program.

No suggestions. Just keep doing what you're doing :)
