Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I do believe E.T. is out there. Space is to big to see the end of it and there are infinite stars and more planets around them. So chances are E.T. exists. But can we receive a signal? I don’t know , it may be too far away for us to detect it. And if we do receive a message, does this civilisation still exist ? At leas it will prove that live is out there. We should send a message into space but not for a short time, we should transmit continuously because we can not be sure E.T. is able to receive it, it may take some time for E.T. to discover receivers for signals. I like this project because we are using computer power from all over the world. We are computing and competing. Our curiosity will give some answers but not all. I like universe to be mysteriously.
