| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

1. I'm convinced there really is extra-terrestrial life, although I'm not as sure that we can ever receive any messages from other intelligent civilizations. That, however, doesn't stop me from believing that it may be possible. Only ignorant fools think otherwise.
2. If SETI (and SETI@home) didn't exist, we would have to invent it. It's far too important (and mind-boggling) not to see this one through.
