Personal background
I have been an off and on participant in SETI@Home for the past 10 years. MITRE, as an FFRDC, is a high tech, international company with many computing platforms that, in their idle state, can contribute to the grid computing environment. The MITRE team is an adhoc collection of colleagues willing to share in the grid computing effort.

I am a senior engineer and manager with MITRE. I lead a site in Suffolk, Virginia and I am also a Department Head.

I support this effort because I have always "looked to the stars" with expectation and excitement. The search resonates with my imagination and my expectations.
