Basically, we are a growing film company located in brisbane, australia.
I'm the companies producer/general computer geek, I set up a little network for our cgi rendering, which also outputs and shares broadband internet.

I thought that during idle hours I'd like to look for aliens, and we have managed to clock 100 units in our first month or so.

However, I'm not sure entirely if I'll stay with seti, it's a great thing, however I've heard about other distributed computing companies that use everyone's idle time to cure cancer/anthrax etc. This sounds a lot more valuable to me.

My personal story: when I was 16 I was rushed to britain to see my grandfather for the first time, he had cancer and about a month to live, I just missed him and instead attended his funeral.

But before I take part in these operations I must be sure that any cure found is free for all. What good is a cure for aids if 22 million suffering in africa can't afford it?

Anyway, i'm rambling... any comments can go direct to me at rtlg@optushome.com.au

p.s image is still from one of our co-founder/cgi artists videos
