Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |
I run Seti@Home because if you find any intelligent life out there, I want to be a part of finding it. Also because if the aliens are not peaceful, I want to know before they attack us.
I like the Seti@home screen saver with the graphs and whatnot. It looks all futuristic and scientific and complicated. It makes my computer look like a screen on the bridge of Star Trek.
I think the project is great, and I'm super impressed that there are so many people working together for one cause. I like that I can help too, in a passive, non-scientist way.
Let me know when you find those aliens! Go UMass! |
