Hey ! My Real name is Michele, that's the same as Michael or Mike (Mike is currently used by all my friends).
I'm from Italy (land of confusion :-))i live 15Km far from Medicina (Bologna -ITALY) Radio Observatory and i'm a truck driver; after long time of traveling across the territory i decided to stay beside my Girlfriend, so i got job close to home and now i can expend my free time for my favorite hobbyes: computers and on-line games.
Since 2005 i was interested to SETI project and i started with SETI@home Classic
for about 6 months, then "Boinc" was introduced and i quit for a while, now i was looking how to employ my HomeLAN for something usefull, so me and my girlfriend we started a new account for "SETI@home Boinc" |

I think we aren't alone in the Universe because if so , of course it should be a waste of space (from Contact Trackmovie).
Maybe some lightyears far away theres, or at least, was a bounch of minds with different or similar tecnology, like us,that are trasmitting/awaiting for signals coming. so why not ? it could be late for radio signals, they may be from already extinguished life but....
We spend lots of money to watch Sport,News,Reality and Music on TV , then now we can also spend some cent to keep our Computers ON for researchs. |
