I'm 32 years old and have been interested in SETI since early 2005 when my Dad got this new "screensaver" that did sciencey stuff. I've learned a lot since then! I really enjoy Astrophotography, tinkering with electronics, and engineering solutions to minuscule problems that didn't really need a solution. Hoping to make the transition into more productive problem solving.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. I run SETI@home because I feel like its my only meaningful contribution to science right now. I'm still working my way through school but as a Husband and Dad who works full time, school is slower than I would like.
SETI@home and Astropulse are funded by grants from the National Science Foundation, NASA, and donations from SETI@home volunteers. AstroPulse is funded in part by the NSF through grant AST-0307956.
