| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I think extraterrestrial life exists. I don't think we will discover it though. I believe they will show themselves instead. Intelligence does not coincide with violence and in my opinion, these extraterrestrials will be intelligent.
I run SETI because my computer is on all the time, and idle a lot. I might as well have it do something useful, whether I believe it or not (although I do, the chances of finding anything might as well be zero). |
