I;m retired after 37 years in the Child Protection department of Hennepin County, (Minneapolis and suburbs). I'll be 65 in December ('07). I've had an interest in astronomy since I was in grade school. I've never lost that childhood belief that there's "somebody out there", although the excitement of the idea has been tempered by the "adult" recognition of the incredible distances that make contact anytime soon so unlikely.
I would love to hear of any contact, even just picking up some slight
confirmed radio signal, during my remaining years. |

I love the whole idea of SETI and I'm excited by the idea of being involved, in however minor a way, by letting my computer be put to use.
