I'm your run of the mill computer nerd. Got my first computer at 15 (TRS 80 Model 1) and have been hacking at it ever since. Now I specialize in internet related services and ISP's. I'm a consultant for 5 ISP's and several internet businesses, saving them the expense of hiring a full time nerd while still leaving enough time for myself so I can get in a good game of (insert game of the week here) on the net.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
ET? I think they're out there, and the bastards are laughing at us. Little do we know but they've got stealthed satelites strategically placed to dampen and convert their "How many humans..." jokes into so much random background garbage.
Never the less, they've underestimated how clever we monkeis are. We'll figure out a way to spot them yet.
SETI@home and Astropulse are funded by grants from the National Science Foundation, NASA, and donations from SETI@home volunteers. AstroPulse is funded in part by the NSF through grant AST-0307956.
