Profile: Jonathan

Personal background
I'm an editor from Pennsylvania, USA, with two stepsons, a wife, a Boston terrier, and two skittish cats. I spend too much time on computers or reading science fiction. One of these days I'll finish that novel. I have a bachelor's degree in a useless area of knowledge; I am currently studying to be a network admin in my spare time, which may or may not constitute useless knowledge depending on your point of view.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. Why do you run SETI@home?

Part of me wants to be the one whose system processes the signal that comes from the actual extraterrestrials. Part of me just thinks it's cool that somebody is actually looking for them.

2. What are your views about the project?

Such an audacious project! It just demands to be supported.

3. Any suggestions?

No, not at this time.
